Celebrate the Faith Superheroes

This week, we celebrate the feast of All Saints, honoring the holy men and women of every time and place – known and unknown. When we think of saints, we often envision faith superheroes, and indeed, they are. But they also present challenges for us. We sometimes forget that, through our baptism, each of us is called to be a saint. Saints aren’t just those who founded orders, built orphanages, or wrote theological works. They’re people like you and me who took their faith in Jesus seriously, prioritized Him, and let Him transform their lives. As we mark All Saints Day this week, let’s celebrate these faith superheroes and be inspired by them. Remember that every one of us is called to be a saint, equipped with the gift of baptism and the power of the Holy Spirit. We can make Jesus our priority and let Him change us, our lives, and through us, our world.
