SUMMARY:Gathering in Grace
DESCRIPTION:The next gathering is November 17 at 6:00 pm at St. Joseph.\nDinner starts at 6pm, if you cannot come for dinner, please join us for the presentation and conversation after dinner at 7pm.\nThis month’s speaker is Fr. Stephen Kirby.\n\nFr. Stephen Kirby was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Baltimore in June, 2026. Born in Germany but raised in Anne Arundel county, Fr. Stephen was a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist, Severna Park. He homeschooled through 8th grade before attending Mount Saint Joseph High School. As a high school student, he felt called to draw close to the Lord Jesus and share the riches of Scripture, Tradition, and the Liturgy as a priest. Fr. Stephen attendedSt. John Paul II College Seminary (Catholic University of America class of 2021) for philosophical studies before moving on to Mount Saint Mary’s in Emmitsburg for theology, graduating with an MDiv. And STB in 2026. His favorite year of priestly formation, however, was his pastoral internship year at the Pastorate of St. John, Frederick, and St. Joseph-on-Carrollton-Manor. After his ordination in June, 2026, he was assigned as associate pastor at St. Joseph Parish, Cockeysville, where he focuses on catechesis and pastoral care of the sick and homebound. Fr. Stephen enjoys reading, singing, riding roller coasters, and playing board games.\n \nFor those with questions or anyone who prefers to use email to RSVP, you may reach out to Roberta Legdon at rlegdon@aol.com\nRSVP Here\n \n
