Gathering in Grace – New Women’s Ministry
Gathering in Grace, the new women’s ministry, is designed give women in the pastorate a place to gather in grace and friendship, grow in faith, to be encouraged and equipped to share the love of Our Lord with each other and everyone we encounter. We are all walking toward the same place, this is an opportunity to encourage each other along that journey.
The first gathering is October 24 at St Joseph on Carrollton Manor. Dinner is at 6:00 pm followed by our 1st speaker, Mrs. Cathy Carlin. Registration is requested so we prepare enough dinner!
Cathy Carlin is a wife, mom and grandmother who retired in 2022 after serving as the Director of Family Faith Formation at the Catholic Community of Ascension & St. Augustine (CCASTA). She is passionate about helping families and women grow in their relationship with Christ. She still keeps busy as the Director of Operations for CCASTA Walking with Purpose and as a barista at St. Lawrence Martyr Church café. Cathy is catching up on reading all the books she kept buying while working. If you can’t find her in Maryland, she is in Memphis doing the grandma thing.
