One of the things I think we all struggle with as people of faith is trust. We say we trust God. We sing about trusting God. You know, when push comes to shove, I trust Him as long as His plan lines up with mine. It’s much harder to trust when I plan one thing, and God takes my life in a different direction. That’s what we need to ask ourselves, is that really trust? Trust is realizing God does indeed know better than we do. To profess our trust in God needs to be something we practice. That when we find life throws us a curveball, can we trust God enough to trust His way rather than our way?
