Missionary Disciples by Baptism | Jolt of Faith 1/29/26

At His baptism in the Jordan, Jesus received His mission: to redeem, to reconcile, and to bring humanity back to the Father. While we don’t share His mission in the same way, through our Baptism we are all entrusted with the work of Christ — to make His love, His mercy, and His salvation known. Today we hear what it truly means to be a missionary disciple: not preaching at people or quoting documents, but simply sharing the difference Jesus has made in our lives. Through small acts of love, conversations, and witness, every baptized Christian participates in the mission of Jesus.
