To participate in youth group for the 2026-2027 year (beginning July 1, 2026), fill out, print or email the participation waiver below. (email to megan.mcquin@stjohn-frederick.org). Occasionally an additional permission form will be sent out for specific events.

How much you’ll spend at youth group varies based on what activities you are involved with. *New this year* Each Sunday night youth group event will have a $5 “cover charge” to help defray expenses (like food). Non-Sunday night events will vary in price depending on the event. For example: Youth group @ adoration = free.  Youth group @ Mount 2000 weekend retreat = roughly $180.

You are eligible to participate in youth group the summer before high school.  You are considered a youth group participant through the summer following your senior year. *Note: once participants turn 18, they must complete the adult VIRTUS training.

Our normal youth group meet ups take place on the first and second Sunday evenings of each month, September – May.  We meet from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Our location varies – please consult the calendar for dates and locations!

There are other opportunities and events outside of the Sunday schedule for youth – including service, worship, retreats and more! Check the website regularly for upcoming opportunities.
