The goal of Middle School Youth Ministry (MSYM) is to continue to enhance our young people’s understanding of the Catholic Church as they grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.

Who can participate in MSYM?
ANY student grades 6-8 can participate in our pastorate MSYM program! All participants must register for MSYM through the faith formation registration page.
What do you do at MSYM?
In MSYM we come together to learn more about God, ourselves and one another. We laugh, pray, play games, talk, serve and eat! Our time together is full of faith and fun.
When does MSYM meet?
MSYM meets the first and second Mondays of the month, 6:30-7:45 pm on our St. John campus. We meet at this time to better serve families with students in both our elementary faith formation program and MSYM.
Do you do anything besides Monday night MSYM?
YES! We participate in our region’s RISE UP middle school retreat each spring, have STAR week for middle school in the summer, go to Wonder Camp for 3 days before school starts, spend an evening at Antietam Recreation in Hagerstown before September and more!
